The file hosting service is now up and running!
Also, the Online Rates generator is now up and running. If you are unsure of what you should set your rates to for Day of Defeat: Source, or infact any Half-Life 2 based Multiplayer game, including Counter-Strike: Source then check it out at:

Just thought I'd post about this cool new map from Jake Parlay. Totally different visually and with the layout, yet it works so well in DoD: Source. I definately recommend that you check this one out!

DoD Stats! posted by El Capitan on 04-10-2006 18:29 |
Sorry about the lack of news recently, I've been doing a lot of work for the new Ham and Jam mod!
Valve have released a page to show statistics for DoD: Source, and they're interesting to see the balance in maps, what the most used weapons are, accuracy reports and more. Could do with more maps listed though!

dod_ludendorff_b1 Release posted by El Capitan on 03-07-2006 09:32 |
There certainly are some really good maps coming out on the DoD: Source platform at the moment! Check this out, for example:
The map is called dod_ludendorff and is in its first beta. To Quote the creators:
This map is based on the events on the 7th of March 1945 in Germany. Where an advance unit of the 9th U.S. Armored Division, reached the last intact bridge (over the Rhine), just after the German defenders twice failed in their demolition attempts.
Your goal is to capture the bridge at Remagen, by controling the 5 flags.
Its a fresh and new concept which really works for DoD: Source. Even if Day of Defeat: Source wasn't lacking in official maps, it is well worth going out your way to try this map out for a new and exciting type of gameplay!
